K. Ashley Hoffman, MEd, LPC

Ashley is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas. She strives to foster therapeutic relationships marked by a sense of safety, understanding, and acceptance. Her Christian faith allows a spiritual perspective to be integrated into therapy, upon client request. Ashley has also completed basic and advanced trainings in EMDR by EMDRIA-approved trainers, which is one of the standard treatments for PTSD, according to the several health and psychological Organizations. Ashley graduated from The University of North Texas in Denton with a Master’s degree in counseling, and has more than a decade of experience with counseling individuals and groups. Her career began as a high school teacher. Ashley enjoyed teaching, but realized she had a specific heart for helping students and parents with behavioral or emotional difficulties. This led her to study counseling psychology. After getting her degree in counseling, she worked as a school counselor and later transitioned to private practice. Ashley continues to have a special interest in working with teens, teachers, and other helpers, including moms, healthcare workers and church workers.

Ashley can counsel via telehealth or in-person in Frisco.

Having lived in several areas of the US, Ashley now calls Texas her home. She resides in the Frisco area with her family and their two rescue dogs. She enjoys the outdoors, especially trail biking.

Her therapeutic expertise includes life transitions, anxiety, mood disorders, trauma, women’s issues, adolescent issues, infertility, motherhood, and issues surrounding singleness.
